This is the official trailer for the upcoming documentary, Tom Wolfe: Blood Lines. The film gets into the minds of one of America's great authors to show how he did his research for his soon-to-be-released novel, Back to Blood.

At the annual Columbus Day regatta celebration off Elliot Key a few years ago, Wolfe, while standing on a boat, was soaked head to toe after a drunk pirate cannonballed into the water. It’s unclear if Wolfe was wearing his trademark white suit, but the incident is one of his new book’s longest chapters. . . . Wolfe is set to kick off this year’s Miami Book Fair International at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 with “An Evening With Tom Wolfe.” Wolfe’s chat will be followed by an 8 p.m. screening of Corral’s documentary."
